Go to Privacy Choices1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit the Tino website, download or use the Tino app, or otherwise submit information to us in connection with the service.
If a feature includes a separate notice or permission prompt, that notice also forms part of how your data is handled.
2. Information we collect
- Account Information: such as your display name, nickname, avatar, email address, or other account details you choose to provide.
- Interaction Content: text conversations with Tino, mood notes, preferences, diaries, and other content you actively save or submit.
- Voice and Audio Content: audio captured when you use voice input, recordings, voice messages, or uploaded audio, together with any necessary transcript output.
- Device and Diagnostic Data: such as device model, operating system version, crash logs, request logs, and essential security information.
3. How we use information
- To provide core service features, including text and voice interaction, continuity, memory, and personalized companionship experiences.
- To power voice capabilities, including recognition, audio understanding, response generation, and feature stability.
- To keep the service safe, detect abuse, and address content or security risks.
- To respond to support requests, send important service notices, and improve the product within legal limits.
4. Voice and recording processing
When you use voice input, recordings, or uploaded audio, you are actively submitting that content so Tino can provide voice-based interaction.
- We process voice or audio content only as needed to understand the request, generate a response, and perform necessary safety review.
- Temporary transcripts, caches, or related logs may be created during processing in order to complete the request, troubleshoot issues, and protect the service.
- Unless we separately disclose and lawfully authorize a different use, we do not use your private voice or recording content for undisclosed purposes.
- If your audio includes other people's voices, conversations, or identifiable information, make sure you are allowed to submit it; the user-side permission responsibility is described further in the Terms.
5. AI processing boundaries
- Tino uses constrained models and technical service providers to deliver text and voice features only for the product, stability, and safety purposes described here.
- We do not sell your personal information, chats, voice inputs, or recordings to third-party data brokers.
- If a future feature would materially change how data is used, we will explain that through the product, email, or updated policy language.
6. Storage and security
- China-market user data is stored in mainland China; international-market data is stored in Singapore or other compliant regions.
- We use reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls to protect data.
- Access is limited to restricted personnel and contracted service providers when needed to operate, secure, or support the service.
7. Third-party services and platforms
To operate the service, we may rely on constrained cloud infrastructure, AI services, content safety tools, and platform distribution channels.
- These providers may process information only as needed for the service and are expected to follow confidentiality and security obligations.
- If a specific integration requires your separate authorization, we will present that choice in the relevant flow.
8. Retention and deletion
- We keep account information, interaction content, and voice-related data for as long as needed to provide the service, unless a longer period is required by law.
- You may request deletion by removing content, deleting your account, or contacting support@tino.pet.
- Once account deletion is confirmed, we will process deletion within a reasonable period, subject only to legal retention requirements.
9. Your rights
- You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data and submitted content.
- You may withdraw microphone permissions in your device settings and request deletion of submitted voice content.
- If you believe our handling of your data is improper, contact support@tino.pet.

Tino is not intended for children below the age allowed by applicable law. If you believe we collected a minor's data by mistake, contact support@tino.pet.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights or our data practices, we will notify you in a reasonable way.
